That's right, academy day -1. We had orientation today and it was interesting to say the least. The next 6 months are going to be brutal. The senior cadets pretty much told us that no matter what we do, it will be wrong and the instructors will chew us out. The academy very much puts you in isolation; there is nothing really there but classrooms, gyms, a track, and a driving track.
I'm currently sitting in my hotel room and I'm getting that first taste of isolation. For now, I kind of like it. I'm sure that will change sooner rather than later. I will try to post up when I can, but I highly doubt I'll be able to for at least a week. Until next time...
